You request a lot of critiques and it's too bad that you don't get many. They not only help you, they help onlookers, and they help the person who writes them. My background in visual art is very limited, and what little I know is about aesthetics and affect and history; I know nothing about technique.

The elf mage is the primary subject. Everything behind and under her are various shades of brown and there is some green behind her which is a nice contrast both to that brown and to her hair. She is beautiful and sexy without the deliberate intent of being so, which is good. I like the "come hither" genre, but I also like to mix things up. The eyes are done well. Her left eye seems to express confidence and purpose, while her right, hidden behind those strands of hair, betray a bit of vulnerability. Her top and the skirt suit her well. I like the leaves and the shrooms, which I assume are spell ingredients, hanging from her belt, and I like that they're not symmetrical. I'm not a fan of the bracers.

I don't think that you would lose much if the background were sharpened and lit up a bit more. I'd like an idea of the terrain behind her, and perhaps that which lies behind her could give us a clue as to where she's going. That's what I most want to know: what is her story? That could be where she's been; it could be where she's going; it could be a moment of recognition; or it could be the peak of an emotion. Right now I see a young, capable mage (who has not been tested to her limits) moving forward with some trepidation. But who is she?

But I think of everything in terms of narrative and the long haul; the lyric, the moment, the captured still taken from life is a foreign genre for me in any medium. Looking at what we have before us, I see a dark background that appears as if it could be a forest path, but I don't pay any attention to that at all because our young mage is far too lovely. Her legs are gorgeous, and I find a pair of legs extremely attractive when they are close together, her thighs rubbing against each other as she inches forward, for she must be going slowly if her legs are positioned as they are.

Oh! I nearly forgot. The hair is perfect. Absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't touch a strand of it (unless I were there in the picture, of course, and she wanted to horse around).
